Accidentally Feminist

Recently, I debated with another PC(USA) pastor friend of mine about whether or not the equality of women in the Church and their roles was central to the Gospel message.  I argued it is for a number of reasons.  Feel free to ask me.

I quoted this same woman (Rachel Held Evans) in my sermon a few weeks ago.  She wrote an excellent blog post on how she arrived at feminism from scripture and faith rather than from acdemia and feminist writers and leaders.  She speaks well to finding the message of equality and egalitarianism in the Word of God and the words of Scripture, Christ, and the Apostles...
